Solid Timber Home furniture at Buywood

Plenty of love switches into the components of solid timber furniture created at Buywood, from the quality workmanship in our highly skilled craftsmen right through to your input as a client commissioning a customized piece. In this blog post we wanted to provide some understanding of what differentiates the timber furniture made at Buywood using their company furniture makers across Australia.

Excellent Solid Timber
Here at Buywood Furniture we use excellent, recycled solid timber from sustainable sources to produce unique, timeless furnishings. Once built, our timber pieces undergo an intensive sanding and polishing process by skilled polishers. As each bit of furniture is customized at our Alderly workshop, any one our furniture designs can be customized with all the excellent timber that you picked.

Tailor made Furniture
Our specialty at Buywood is creating customized pieces to accommodate the precise needs in our clients. People in our team enjoy meeting customers personally with a one-to-one basis to establish their requirements and ensure that this custom furniture they commission is an ideal fit because of their home. Lee Kenny, who owns Buywood Furniture hand sketches all designs manufactured by the Buywood team, and oversees each design from initial drawings to final polishing. If perhaps you were involved with designing your furniture, you’ll be invited to our Alderly workshop to be sure of its progress, and our experienced team will assist you with installing the piece at your residence.

Four Generations Strong
Lee Kenny is often a 4th generation furniture maker who works across every one of the custom furniture produced by the Buywood team. He prides himself with a traditional method of furniture making, which decelerates the assembly process and utilises traditional joinery processes to create pieces that work for a lifetime. Activities like the once the desolate man Australia’s manufacturing market is uncertain, Buywood Furnishings are proud to have been Australian made and Australian owned for four generations of craftsmen.
