A new 2016 Christmas rock n roll song has been written, created and then studio recorded in a Phuket recording studios in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main purpose of bringing awareness and exposure for the Phuket island charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day web site .
The tracks title is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs style is a distinctive up-tempo rock/rock-pop track. Mark wrote and semi studio recorded a demo song guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo track since then looking forward to the possibility to record once again. In late August 2016 Mark began the recording process and used local session players to record the tune over a six week period. The songs includes 8 separate tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the female lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket the mixing and mastering was made in the USA due to Mark needed the most effective outcome and quality. The track is now ready to be listened to and downloaded by visiting the ‘Tsunami Day’ site.
The key aim of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many folks to the Tsunami Day site that we can and then we hope in-turn they will be good enough to give to one or all the Phuket charities, and to also download the song.
The other primary goal is to get enough downloads of the tune to fund and setup a Phuket live music cafe with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that’ll offer free instructions and tuition to local underprivileged children from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. Up to now ‘La QingTing’ isn’t currently open right now but the internet site is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you are wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day site to market his tune Tsunami Day that was influenced from his own personal experiences while he was living in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami hit Patong on boxing day. Much like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the song Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and children’s Orphanages. On the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site there is numerous ways to greatly help including a Phuket island Villa and budget flights to Phuket booking system. Every dime helps.
