2016 Xmas Rock song recorded in a Phuket recording studio Thailand

A new 2016 Xmas rock-POP tune has been written, composed and then recorded in a Phuket recording studio in Thailand by songwriter ‘Mark Hopkins’ with the main aim of providing attention and exposure for the Phuket charities and children’s Orphanages that Mark supports. You can listen and read more by going to the Tsunami Day site .

The tracks name is: I’m coming home for Christmas and the songs is a distinctive up-tempo rock n roll track. Mark wrote and partially recorded a demo music guide of ‘I’m coming home for Christmas’ in late 2015 on Phuket island and has kept the demo song since then waiting for the opportunity to record once again. In August 2016 Mark began the studio recording process and used local session musicians to studio record the song over a 6 week period. The track includes 8 differant tracks and all session musicians were from the Philippines, including the lead singer ‘Micah Javier’.
Although I’m coming home for Christmas was recorded on Phuket island the mixing and mastering was done in the United States due to Mark wanted the very best result and quality. The track ready to be heard and downloaded by going to the ‘Tsunami Day’ web site.
The key purpose of studio recording I’m coming home for Christmas is to bring as many visits to the Tsunami Day web site that we can and then hopefully in-turn they will be good enough to give to at least one or every one of the Phuket island charities, and to also buy the track.
One other definitive goal is to get enough downloads of the track to help fund and setup a Phuket live music bar with open stage and recording studio / training room on Phuket, that will provide free classes and tuition to local underprivileged children from the neighborhood colleges and orphanages. Currently ‘La QingTing’ isn’t open right now but the website is below. (QingTing means: Dragon Fly in Chinese if you’re wondering).
About: Mark set-up the Tsunami Day internet site to market his track Tsunami Day which was inspired from his own particular experiences while he was residing in Patong in 2004 once the Tsunami devistated Patong on boxing day. Just like ‘I’m Coming Home For Christmas’the track Tsunami Day also brought awareness to local Phuket Charities and . On the ‘Tsunami Day’ site there’s numerous ways to greatly help including a Phuket Villa and budget flight booking to Thailand booking system. Every penny helps.
Credits: Mark would like to credit his sponsors: Michael Dietvorst (CEO of Oriental Living), Stuart Baker (GM of Food Hygiene Asia), Alan Cooke ( MBE ), Adam Goodman (GM of Two Chefs Restaurants) and Cassius Rolfe-Johnson (CEO of Phuket Home Services).
