I don’t know when i got word of workbook for students. I recognize that I purchased the novel in March 2009 since i wrote the date inside the cover.
While i tried to see clearly, however, I just can’t realize it. The style of writing was perplexing. The information it contained baffled me. I had created never encountered such teachings. I wasn’t ready because of it and quickly set it up aside.
Then, a dear friend suggested that individuals form a report group to function around the Course. I believe he was just as bewildered because of it while i was. But his suggestion was wise. He knew we could do together that which you wasn’t able to perform alone.
So a few us met the first time in July 2009. At this meeting, we tried to read several pages from the Text — which forms the Course with the Workbook for young students and the Manual for Teachers. What we should read in that first meeting made little sense to us. It left us frustrated.
Somehow — and that i don’t remember how — we made a decision to turn instead towards the Workbook for young students, using its 365 daily lessons. We have to have been divinely inspired with this decision, because it worked for us and possesses continued to function ever since.
Now, more than two years later, we have been well to the Workbook for a second time. The daily lessons and in many cases the Text now make perfect sense. Now i look forward to doing the teachings each day after you have my first mug of coffee. I look forward to utilizing the teachings in the lessons into meditation where I could discuss them my spirit guides. I look forward towards the weekly study get together where we review and discuss the teachings that individuals worked on individually through the entire week.
ACIM has completely revolutionized my understanding of the entire world, and that i are getting to be devoted to it. The research get together normally leave me in a state of bliss, because ACIM helps me remember everything I knew when still in spirit but forgot when I drew the veil of forgetfulness over me and incarnated into this physical world.
Here’s an example of the way the Course has changed my understanding of the entire world: I used to believe this physical world is real which is made by God, nature, and other forces external in my opinion. Now i realize that I have been tricked by my five senses into believing life is real. Now i realize that it turned out I who came up with form of world I see around me and all of my experiences inside it. What I see “out there” is actually only a projection of what’s occurring during my own mind. This physical world is definitely an illusion, a hologram where I could play and learn. None from it is real — I got all up!
Thus, We are to blame for the kind of world I see around me and my experiences inside it. I’m not a target of life’s circumstances in fact. Other people are not abusing me. God is not punishing me. I see some tips i see, I experience some tips i experience, and that i feel some tips i feel since i choose to do so during my own mind.
There is absolutely no part of going “out there” to switch any particular item on the planet. You are unable to control, manipulate, or fix it. This may be like traversing to a movie theater and stomping up to destroy the screen as you do not like the show you’re watching.
The best way to change any particular item on the watch’s screen is to locate the projector at the rear of the theater and modify the show. The way to change any particular item “out there” on the planet is to change what’s “in here” is likely to mind. Change your beliefs. Stop judging and condemning. Begin to practice unconditional love and acceptance. Whenever you do that, the entire world the thing is that “out there” will quickly change. You no longer will probably be trapped in unhappiness, pain, and suffering.
ACIM is very basic and unequivocal concerning this: You are able to remain asleep with this physical illusion, dreaming that it’s real, provided you prefer. Or you can awaken spiritually and find out that you’ve been asleep in Heaven all along. Jesus Himself declared Heaven is here now, all over, but we haven’t had the ability to find it. Once we awaken through the dream of this physical illusion, we’ll be in a position to experience Heaven the following on the planet.
