How weddings have changed on the decades! From your handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight bridal party members; a fairly easy wedding car to expensive and huge wedding cars; three course meals to 6 course meals; one-three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
These are rogues, wedding speeches are nevertheless a fundamental part of a marriage and guests do enjoy hearing them, referring to them before, during as wll as after they’ve been delivered.
We are all aware of wedding speeches delivered prior to meal, throughout the meal and after your food, yet it is of a strong opinion the father of the groom speech needs to be delivered as soon as the meal. I realize that for many wedding ceremony speakers i.e. Father from the Bride Speech, Father in the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (5 main speakers), they might would rather have the wedding speeches prior to the meal, so they can enjoy their meal (a lot of them are spending money for it!). However, is going on the invited guests and the way a lot of them (and even wedding ceremony venue staff) would choose the marriage speeches being delivered as soon as the meal for many reasons, a few of which include:
The invited guests are already fed and watered and are not playing wedding speeches before eating anything (at least of food, which will be the case ahead of the meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival at the wedding venue)
Food can be cooked and served on the agreed time (introduce the wedding ceremony speeches before the meal along with their is actually a delay of A quarter-hour to a single.5 hours, driving your home staff crazy continuing to keep food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
Wedding ceremony speeches behave as the transition through the meal to the dancing (broke and alone happening as soon as the meal, everyone is expecting ‘a few words’ being shared about the Bride & Groom and they are fully aware they’re able to stand up, move, come out, take a stroll, see a bar…)
It’s not easy for moms and dads from the Bride & Groom to communicate in public areas, the majority of them would not be used than it. So, they could, when they so wished, speak prior to the / their meal.
There should be some type of formal speech(es) after the meal…
