The moment must the perfect wedding speech be presented…?

How weddings have changed within the decades! Coming from a handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight bridal party members; an easy wedding car to expensive and large wedding cars; three course meals to course meals; 1-3 live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.

These are the latter, wedding speeches continue to be an important part of a marriage and guests do look forward to hearing them, talking about them before, during and indeed after they’ve been delivered.

We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered prior to the meal, through the meal after the meal, yet it is of a strong opinion that this wedding speeches should be delivered after the meal. I realize that for most bridal party speakers i.e. Father with the Bride Speech, Father from the Groom Speech, Bride Speech, Groom Speech and Bestman Speech (5 main speakers), they might would rather have the wedding speeches before the meal, so they can enjoy their meal (a number of them are spending money for it!). However, all is here the invited guests and exactly how a lot of them (as wll as the wedding ceremony venue staff) would prefer the wedding speeches to get delivered following the meal for several reasons, a few of which include:

The invited guests happen to be fed and watered and are not paying attention to wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which may be the case prior to meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival at the wedding venue)
Food could be cooked and served on the agreed time (introduce the wedding speeches before the meal in addition to their is actually a delay of A quarter-hour to a single.5 hours, driving the kitchen staff crazy always keeping food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
Wedding ceremony speeches work as the transition from your meal to the dancing (with nothing happening as soon as the meal, everyone is expecting ‘a few words’ being shared about the Bride & Groom and they know they are able to stand up, move around, take a rest, go for a walk, navigate to the bar…)
It’s not easy for fogeys from the Bride & Groom to speak in public places, the majority of them wouldn’t be used of computer. So, they may, if they so wished, speak before the / their meal.

There should always be some type of formal speech(es) following your meal…
