How weddings have changed in the decades! From your handful to 400-500 invited guests; one-two to six-eight wedding ceremony members; a fairly easy wedding car to expensive and enormous wedding cars; three course meals to course meals; one-three live bands; simple attire to colorful and flamboyant dresses, suits and attire and off-the-cuff to well-prepared wedding speeches.
Talking about rogues, wedding speeches are nevertheless an important part of a married relationship and guests do look ahead to hearing them, referring to them before, during as wll as after they’ve been delivered.
We have all heard of wedding speeches delivered ahead of the meal, through the meal after the meal, yet it’s of a strong opinion that this wedding speeches must be delivered following the meal. I understand that for several wedding party speakers i.e. Father in the Bride Speech, Father in the groom speech (5 main speakers), they’d want to contain the wedding speeches before the meal, for them to enjoy their meal (many of them are spending money for it!). However, it is all about the invited guests and exactly how most of them (as well as the wedding ceremony venue staff) would like the marriage speeches to become delivered as soon as the meal for a lot of reasons, a few of which include:
The invited guests have already been fed and watered and are not hearing wedding speeches on an empty stomach (at least of food, which could be so prior to meal, though weddings today do provide light snacks upon arrival in the wedding venue)
Food might be cooked and served on the agreed time (introduce the wedding ceremony speeches ahead of the meal and their might be a delay of A quarter-hour one.5 hours, driving the kitchen staff crazy always keeping food freshly cooked, presentable and edible)
The marriage speeches act as the transition in the meal on the dancing (broke happening following the meal, people are expecting ‘a few words’ to get shared concerning the Bride & Groom then they do know they can stand up, move, take a break, go for a walk, see a bar…)
It can be hard for parents with the Bride & Groom to communicate in in public areas, the majority of them couldn’t survive used of it. So, they could, when they so wished, speak ahead of the / their meal.
There should still be some form of formal speech(es) following the meal…
