Alpine Sky Golden Retrievers is a small family-oriented breeder in Raleigh, NC. Our passion for English Cream Golden Retrievers began having an earnest look for a great dog. We needed a puppy that was kid-friendly and trainable, which has a calm, gentle temperament so we began looking for breeds which in fact had characteristics works with our lifestyle.
Because we love hiking, lake and beach time, we would have liked a puppy that loved water and workout. It has also been key that the dog not be a barker because we work from home. After much research, we chosen the English Cream Golden Retrievers, which was the perfect fit for individuals.
We searched for months for the quality male from a responsible small family breeder, and finally found him. In 2008, we fell completely deeply in love with our first boy, Kozmo, along with his gentle, sweet nature and happy go lucky attitude. He loves everyone, especially children, and now we were immediately excited about the breed. We added Holly to our family and, in 2014, our extended dog family begun to form with our first litter planning to carefully selected friends and family.
After witnessing the enrichment of countless lives, we had arrived motivated to continue sharing our special dogs with more families and also the broader community.
Leveraging their gentle and sweet temperaments, we began certifying our own own dogs as Therapy Dogs. It has been a satisfying experience for family, the dogs, and the individuals obtaining the comfort and joy our dogs tell everyone.
We continue our target dogs best-suited to be loving loved ones and hopefully future therapy dogs.
