Facts You Should Have Knowledge Of Course in Miracles

What’s the expression “it ‘s what it is”? What does that expression mean exactly?

Before I understood the deeper meaning of this expression, I envisioned an emaciated yogi guru from the lotus position floating across the ground imperiously imparting wisdom that could take scholars multiple lifetimes to interpret. Since this can be my last life on the planet and the lotus position would put me in traction, I knew that consulting the Course In Miracles would help me clarify its meaning.

Is there a IT that we are talking about here? According to the Course in Miracles, It’s truth, specifically God’s truth. Why is it crucial that you emphasize it’s God’s truth? Because God’s facts are not ready to accept interpretations whereas a human’s simple truth is. Multiple versions of human truth have lead to a several religions. The Columbia Electronic Encyclopedia defines religion as being a “system of thought, feeling, and action that is shared by the group and that provides members an object of devotion.”

Who devised it of thought? On whose feelings are these thoughts based? Are actions really necessary? In accordance with the Course In Miracles, God just is and our ultimate goal is always to come back to a great condition of being. There is absolutely no thought or action from the state of being, you just are. What mustn’t be forgotten is the underlying thread of all religions: God is creator, God is love and we’re all perfect and infinite kids of God.

Put another way, “it is the thing that it is” could be rewritten to “God’s love is the only truth and it’s also absolute” and this truth knows no bounds and it is timeless.
