I am not sure initially when i first been aware of workbook for students. I understand that I purchased the novel in March 2009 since i wrote the date inside the cover.

When I experimented with see clearly, however, I merely could not be aware of it. The perception of writing was perplexing. The guidelines it contained baffled me. I needed never before encountered such teachings. I wasn’t ready for this and quickly place it aside.

Then one day, a dear friend suggested that people form a report group to function for the Course. I really believe he was just as bewildered by it while i was. But his suggestion was wise. He knew we might do together what we should had not been able to perform alone.

So a number of us met for the first time in July 2009. At this meeting, we experimented with read several pages in the Text — which forms the Course combined with Workbook for college kids and also the Manual for Teachers. That which you read because first meeting made little sense to us. It left us frustrated.

Somehow — i don’t remember how — we chose to turn instead on the Workbook for college kids, with its 365 daily lessons. We must happen to be divinely inspired on this decision, because it worked for us and possesses continued to function ever since.

Now, more than 2 yrs later, were well into the Workbook for a second time. The daily lessons and in many cases the written text now make perfect sense. I now anticipate doing the teachings each morning once you have my first cup of joe. I look forward to taking the teachings in the lessons into meditation where I could discuss them my spirit guides. I look forward on the weekly study get togethers where we review and discuss the teachings that people labored on individually during the entire week.

ACIM has completely changed my perception of the planet, i have become devoted to it. The research get togethers normally leave me in a state of bliss, because ACIM is assisting me remember all the tasks I knew when still in spirit but forgot when I drew the veil of forgetfulness over me and incarnated into this physical world.

Here’s one of these of precisely how the Course has changed my perception of the planet: That i used to believe that this physical world is real and that it was developed by God, nature, and also other forces external in my opinion. I now realize that I have already been tricked by my five senses into believing this world is real. I now realize that it was I who come up with kind of world I see around me as well as my experiences inside it. A few things i see “out there” is really merely a projection of what’s taking place in my own mind. This physical world can be an illusion, a hologram through which I could play and discover. None of computer is real — I caused it to be all up!

Thus, We are responsible for the kind of world I see around me and all sorts of my experiences inside it. I’m not really a victim of life’s circumstances in fact. Other people are not abusing me. God isn’t punishing me. I see what I see, I experience what I experience, i feel what I feel since i decide to do so in my own mind.

There isn’t any time going “out there” to switch a specific item on the planet. You can’t control, manipulate, or remedy it. This would be like going to a movie theatre and stomping approximately dismantle the screen because you do not like the film you’re watching.

Inside your change a specific item on screen is to find the projector in the back of the theater and alter the video. The way to change a specific item “out there” on the planet is usually to change what’s “in here” in your mind. Make positive changes to beliefs. Stop judging and condemning. Set out to practice unconditional love and acceptance. Whenever you make it happen, the planet the thing is “out there” are going to change. So long as will be stored in unhappiness, pain, and suffering.

ACIM is fairly basic and unequivocal about this: You are able to remain asleep on this physical illusion, dreaming that it must be real, as long as that suits you. You can also awaken spiritually and see that you have been asleep in Heaven all along. Jesus Himself asserted Heaven is here now, at our disposal, but we’ve not been able to notice. Once we awaken in the dream of this physical illusion, i will be in a position to experience Heaven below on this planet.
